Doggie Costume Contest at Humane Society

News

People aren’t the only ones getting into the Halloween spirit this week.

The Joplin Humane Society hosted a pet Halloween Costume Contest Saturday for owner’s and their four-legged family members to show off their creativity.

KSN’s Erin Sullivan, Joie Bettenhausen, and Austin Hyslip were invited to judge to furry festivity.

There was no lack of creativity.

Some of the most impressive included a Carl Junction cheerleader bulldog, two beauties and their dog beast, Cruella Deville and some make-shift dalmatians, and a dragon-kitty.

Also a whole squad from the police force, including a barking officer and a drone puppy who’d taken their inmate owner into custody.
