Crowder College students de-stress during finals week

News

Students at Crowder College in Neosho had the chance to spend some time with puppies from the nearby Faithful Friends Animal Shelter. Crowder College Counselor Jamie Ward says this was the beginning of two-days worth of activities designed to help students decompress in between finals.

“Starting with breakfast in the morning so they can get a healthy start hopefully they’ve got a good night sleep and then we just have more interactive things so they can take breaks throughout the day, we have an area in our student center called the gratitude area where students can make thank you notes for people who’ve made a positive difference in their experience here at Crowder,” says Ward.

To make sure students get the proper nutrition Monday night before they go to bed, students were invited to a meal in the cafeteria.
