Crowder College reviews its official stats at the Joplin Advanced Technology and Training Center.
The director of the facility announced the final numbers for the center, showing the work of the faculty and students is not going unnoticed. Enrollment and credit hours doubled this fall with more than 106 students enrolled in more than 1 thousand credit hours. Students who want to get an associate’s degree will begin their third semester.
The director also points out the demand is strong for these programs, and currently there is a 100 percent job placement. The programs are also showing success with all welding students passing the technical skills assessment exam. Administration is providing additional certifications for students to help them become more employable and get higher paying jobs.
