Joplin Area Coronavirus

KANSAS — More than 1,000 Kansans have died due to coronavirus. Governor Laura Kelly is calling for flags to be lowered to half staff across the state to honor the lives lost.

The Governor says that one of the many impacts of the virus is that families are unable to hold in-person services for those who have died from the virus. Flags will be lowered to half-staff from now to Friday, October 30th.
