A Southwest Missouri charity continues disaster relief efforts in the wake of a category 4 hurricane in Florida.
Convoy of Hope crews are committing to remain in the affected area until relief efforts are finished — efforts that also continue in the Carolina’s. The Springfield non-profit immediately sent crews from the Carolina’s to the Florida panhandle as Hurricane Michael was hitting land on October 10th.
Almost a thousand local volunteers with the organization have been distributing supplies since. That includes more than 3.7 million pounds of products to about thirty communities that were affected.
