Connie Sanders-Ford found guilty of first degree murder

A McDonald County jury found Connie Sanders-Ford guilty of first degree murder and armed criminal action for the death of John Jordon. According to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, Jordon and Ford were in a relationship, which Jordon tried to end.
 
On March 30th, 2015 the Newton County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call from someone in Neosho who said Ford came to their home saying she shot Jordon. At that point, Granby officers went to Jordon’s home located at 1264 Spruce Street in Granby, where they found him dead. Ford could faces a mandatory life sentence without parole. Her sentencing hearing is set for July 5th.
