Kansas residents are being asked to give their feedback regarding a program that effects their transportation.

The Kansas Department of Transportation is requesting comments on the amendment to the fiscal year 2016-2016 Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan document, also known as STIP. It lists all of KDoT’s administered projects, regardless of funding source, and has projects for other counties and cities. The list also has projects on the state highway system. In order for the STIP to get approved, there must be a public comment period of fourteen days. Interested parties have until September 7 to contact KDoT’s Bureau of Program and Project Management with their thoughts. You can view the list of projects in the draft amendment by clicking here.
