Columbus man sentenced in 2017 Joplin murder case

Brock Robinson, 22, will serve 15 years in prison for 2nd degree murder, 1st degree robbery, and 1st degree assault.

Robinson is one of three men who broke into a Joplin home back in January 2017. He along with Erik Jones and Azaiah Forester broke into a home on east Zora Street and shot the residents. Taven Williams, 21, was shot and killed and Paul Haney, 19, was shot, but survived.

Erik Jones was sentenced back in November and is serving 15 years in prison.

Azaiah Forester will be sentenced in June.
