Columbus fire fighters save a dog’s life

News

Over the weekend Columbus fire fighters save a young dog’s life.

In this video shot by one of the fire fighters, men use a chainsaw to cut a hole in a 12-18 inch drainage pipe under the road. The Columbus Fire Department says the dog might have been chasing something and ended up getting stuck because of debris on the other end.

This is just six miles west of Columbus near a church where residents heard barking and called the sheriff’s department who then called the rescue team. They used a hose at the other end to move the dog to the hole and were able to grab him out without injury.
