Civilian Advisory Committee


The Joplin Police Department is looking for qualified citizens who want to make a difference within the city.

The Civilian Advisory Committee is a group of citizens who provide input and hold the Joplin Police Department accountable.
Members assist command staff in reviewing local policies and provide suggestions for improvement.
The committee meets once a month and may call special meetings as they see fit.
Members must be civilians, at least eighteen years of age, and live or own a business in the corporate city limits of Joplin.
