City of Joplin sees slight increase in sales tax revenue


The city took in about $2.8 million–that’s up about $9,000 since August of 2018.

The July numbers showed a decrease of more than 12%.

Year to date, the city is up about .3%, for a total of more than $32 million in Fiscal Year 2019.
