Cherokee County warns residents of non-operational storm siren

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. - A storm siren located in Crestline, Kansas has been determined as non-operational. Cherokee County Emergency Management officials conducted storm siren tests on Wednesday, which alerted them to the issue. Officials say technicians will be able to repair the siren next week. However, they are asking residents to rely on other methods for weather alerts until the problem is solved.
