CDC highlights several Four State counties as being at risk for opioid-linked disease outbreak


There are 220 counties across the country highlighted as in danger of an outbreak of Hepatitis C or HIV associated with the drug use.

Missouri has 13 counties on the list, including Cedar and Bates.
In Kansas, Allen, Wilson, and Woodson are among four at risk.
Oklahoma and Arkansas have two each highlighted.
Kentucky has the most counties – with 54 listed by the CDC.
