Carl Junction and Webb City children have opportunity to participate in Easter egg hunt

News

An assisted and independent living home brought an Easter egg hunt to the community.

Foxberry Terrace in Webb City hosted an inaugural Easter egg event Sunday afternoon.

The egg hunt was open to all children in the community, as well as grandchildren of residents.

Children could even win raffle prizes, such as gift baskets and candy bags.

Foxberry staff put on this event to bring the Carl Junction and Webb City communities together, and they are pleased with all the people who came to the event.

Stephanie Miller, Executive Director, says, “We were a little worried that with the way the weather had been it wouldn’t be a good turnout, but we had a great turnout and the weather couldn’t have been any better.”

More than 30 children participated in the hunt.
