Hundreds of joplin students are looking to the future and what comes after graduation.
About 70 companies and colleges were on site at joplin high school for a career day.
Students could learn about degree programs or how to get ready to apply for internships and jobs.
Senior skyla wilson is interested in a career in construction but didn’t realize how many choices are out there.
Skyla wilson, jhs student: “there is a lot of options and just because you take one class doesn’t mean you specifically want to do it. So there’s many options you can do and you just gotta search.”
About 15 hundred sophomores, juniors and seniors took part in the j.H.S. Career day events.
