Breaking: Remains identified as missing Chanute woman

News

The remains of a Chanute woman are identified in connection to a 2017 disappearance.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says Marissa Craft, 39, is the woman whose body was found in a Neosho County field last August. Craft was last seen in her home of Chanute, where she left with three men in a white Dodge pickup on December 15th, 2017.

The investigation into Craft’s death is ongoing, and anyone with information about her disappearance or death is asked to contact KBI at 1-800-KS-CRIME. Callers may choose to remain anonymous.

The Neosho County Sheriff’s Office and the Chanute Police Department also worked with KBI to help identify Craft.
