A 10-year-old girl with cancer and her family are holding a blood drive to help save her life.
Sydni Brown has a rare form of cancer called Aveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. In the past week, she has had two blood transfusions, and her family wants to increase blood supplies and raise awareness for conditions, like Sydni’s.
Even though Sydni has this cancer, her mom says she still is an active, fun-loving kid.
Sydni Brown says, “Color, watch YouTube (laughs).”
Sydni’s mom, Darci Brown says, “She watches lots of YouTube. She loves when- when we’re in the hospital her favorite thing is the art therapist that comes by, and they do art together. She’s just an everyday kid. She’s just a little girl that loves to have fun.”
Sydni is currently working through a 54-week treatment plan to fight the cancer.
