LAMAR, Mo. — Lamar city officials are trying to combat these scorching hot temperatures.

They’ve opened Memorial Hall as a cooling center this week.

It’ll be open through Friday. The hours are 8 AM to 8 PM.

Officials will make the call later in the week, possibly this weekend, as to whether it’ll open again next week.
