Area athletes now have a new place to play baseball in Frontenac

News

The city of Frontenac has just completed a three month project for area athletes.

Through funds from the city and the Frontenac School District, the Youth League Baseball has two new renovated fields. The project started back in March and cost about $55,000. Renovations include new dugouts, paving, netting and ADA accessible seating.

Frontenac planned on an unveiling of the new fields Monday, however canceled due to the weather.

The new ribbon cutting has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 29th at 4:30 pm.
