Dozens of planes took flight over Joplin today as the Alpha Air Show came to close.
The event was host to more than 7,000 people over the two-day event.
With the weather pleasant it made for the perfect weekend to bring the family out and enjoy new and old aircraft.
It’s not only a chance to see some awesome aircraft, it could inspire future pilots.
“It’s a great time getting into the industry. From pilots to mechanics to dispatchers to I mean anything, air traffic controls there is a like I said a big shortage that are out there so it’s definetly in favor of the employee at this time,” explains GM Alpha Air Josh Crooker.
From pilots we spoke with, the event was seamless.
Everyone says they’re acts have done well and also without incident.
