Pilots at the Joplin Regional Airport have started gassing up and practicing for tomorrow’s Alpha Air Fest.
The air show will be host to seven different in-air acts as well as host to the fastest truck in the United States.
Food, planes, fast cars and simulators will be scattered across the tarmac on Saturday and Sunday.
It’s a chance to get out with the entire family and learn the different jobs associated with aircraft.
“The youngsters that like technology lots of technology to see and uh and uh it’s speedy and it’s noisy so everybody kind of get’s something out of it.” said Raymond Vetsch Heart Surgeon/pilot
The gates will open at 10 tomorrow morning, following that at noon the exotic and muscle car demonstration will beging on the runway.
From one until four P.M. planes will flip and spin through the air.
