The Alliance of Southwest Missouri will be celebrating 20 years tomorrow.
The birthday party will be open to the public from 10 to 2 on Tuesday. The event is interactive, and each station will highlight the programs that the Alliance provides. A person can also see what 20 dollars provides each program, keeping in theme with the 20 years of service in the community.
In the two decades the Alliance has existed, it’s created numerous partnerships with other organizations hoping to better the community.
“We’re not just a stand alone organization we have a lot of collaboration. So, people who come around the table truly care about our kiddos in Southwest Missouri and they want them to be safe and they want them to grow up in healthy environments,” says Jen Black, Alliance of SWMO Executive Director.
The Alliance serves Jasper, Barton, Newton, and McDonald Counties. The mission is to create a safer environment for children.
