Four State residents head to Neosho for a locally-famous seasonal festival.
Today marks the kickoff of the 2018 Neosho Fall Festival.
195 vendors lined the Historic Downtown District to celebrate the Neosho community.
Families could shop handmaid items, choose from many food trucks, and take part in a chalk art contest.
A kid’s zone featured inflatables, carnival rides and laser tag.
New to this year, more classes were added to the car show, as well as a motorcycle lineup.
“Economically it might see a little bit of a short term boost, but come and get the Neosho experience and hopefully it’ll be a good experience and you’ll go like well there’s things to do in Neosho.” says Paul Richardson, City of Neosho Public Relations and Events Coordinator
Richardson adds that next year’s Fall Festival plans are already in the works.
