ASBURY, Mo. — One man is dead following a single vehicle crash in Asbury, Saturday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 37-year-old Dewey Lewis was driving a 1974 Chevrolet Vega, headed eastbound on Main Street in Asbury, just before 8:30 p.m.
Authorities say Lewis was not wearing a seatbelt when he ran off the roadway — hitting a utility pole and a tree.
Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.
