The wait was worth it for the Webb City boys. After severe weather in Arkansas set their opponents departure back several hours, the Cardinals game was moved from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It was the best game of day one at the Neosho Holiday Classic, too, as Webb advanced with a 10 point win against West Memphis.

Day two of the Neosho Holiday Classic was a good one for the home crowd, seeing both the Neosho boys and girls teams win. Also, Carthage and Webb City advance to the semifinals on the boys side of the bracket, while on the girls side, Purdy is the lone local team to win their first two.

Day one of the Neosho Holiday Classic is in the books. Carthage, Webb City and Monett advanced on the boys side, while McDonald County, Purdy, Carthage and Pierce City advanced on the girls side. All 32 teams will play all four days no matter what.
