The 6 year old casino will be getting a face lift while adding on a bowling alley, night club, and an entertainment venue. The restaurant will also undergo renovations. According to the Wyandotte Nation chief, the goal of the project is to make the casino not just a place for gaming, but also a social hub for the Four States area.
"We just wanted to offer something different. Something that is not in the area currently. You know it's a highly competitive market. Everybody's out trying to get that entertainment dollar. So, this gives people a different option," said Billy Friend, Wyandotte Nation Chief.
The project is expected to last a little over a year, and will cost approximately 6 to 7 million dollars, while adding at least 30 jobs to the community.
