GROVE, OK-- Police identify three victims after a vehicle drives off Blue Bluff plunging into Grand Lake.

Emergency crews first identified the body of 24-year-old Michael John McKinney of Brookings, Oregon.

The GRDA dive team extricated McKinney through a rear window of the 2014 GMC Yukon Friday around five in the evening.

As recovery efforts continued Saturday, Grove firefighters were able to pull the vehicle out of the lake around noon with the two other occupants still inside.

Around 1:30 in the afternoon, crews extricated the body of the vehicle's driver identified as 22-year-old Kyley A. Collins of Grove.

And minutes later firefighters recovered the body of 23-year old Jake Olsen also of Grove.

All three men died at the scene of the crash.

Police say the Yukon plummeted into Grand Lake around 10:30 Thursday evening but authorities were notified of the crash Friday morning

Troopers believe the driver failed to navigate a curve on South 630 Road on Blue Bluff and left the roadway.

They add the vehicle went about 60 feet, hit a tree, traveled off an 80 foot embankment and then hit the lake coming to rest on it's top in 12 feet of water.

According to the police report, seat belts were not in use at the time of the crash.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
