Vernon County Annual Cleanup

People can drop off any unwanted appliances, mattresses, furniture, cardboard, batteries and other recyclable items at the county fairgrounds.
NEVADA, MO.--- The Vernon County Annual Cleanup will take place at the county's fairgrounds. People can drop off any unwanted appliances, mattresses, furniture, cardboard, batteries and other recyclable items. The one thing that will not be accepted is tires. The cleanup will take place on November 2nd from 8 am until 4 pm. 

The recycling center will also be open that morning for business during its regular hours from nine until noon. The fairgrounds is located at 1488 east Ashland Street. The county recycling center is at 310 Colorado Street. If you'd like to volunteer or learn more, contact the Vernon County Recycling Center at 417-448-2509.
