JOPLIN, MO.--- A college in the Four States attracts potential students by hosting a carnival. Vatterott College in Joplin held a fall festival and open house this evening. The event featured carnival games, an obstacle course, a bounce house and more. Anyone who came out could tour the campus and learn about available programs.
"It gives people a chance to see the instructors and everybody that works here and how open we are. We talk to everybody and we're just a nice group of people," said Monty Kaywood, Vatterott College Instructor.
Vatterott staff members say their programs are for anyone looking to switch careers or move forward with education beyond a high school diploma.
