JOPLIN, MO.--- Joplin City Council members want to widen their investigation into an FBI probe of one of their members. Last month, council members approved a plan to hire someone who will take a deeper look into the FBI investigation of Bill Scearce. Now, Dr. Benjamin Rosenberg wants that person to also look at business activies of council member Mike Woolston. The 2012 FBI investigation led to the book-making conviction of an individual who was renting property from Scearce.
