UPDATE: Bullet Hits Jasper County Sheriff Vehicle

Authorities say a suspect fired at a deputy, hitting his vehicle.
JASPER COUNTY, MO---Authorities have called off their search for a suspect accused of speeding away from authorities and firing a gun.  Officials called off the search around 1:30 Saturday morning.  Law enforcement agents were unable to locate the vehicle or either person inside it.  Police are still searching for a 1990's single cab red Ford F-150 pickup with unknown Missouri plates.  The truck also had a white decal sticker on the back glass.  The driver is described as a white male with a shaved head and there was a female passenger.  The suspects are considered armed and dangerous and should be avoided.  The deputy who was fired at was not injured, his name is not being released at this time.  Authorities say the bullet hit the hood of the patrol car and then struck the windshield.
