Suspected Arrested for Stabbing Man to Death

Boyd Marcum of Neosho faces a Second Degree Murder charge.
Anderson, MO--- Boyd Marcum, 31, of Neosho is facing a charge of Second Degree Murder. He was taken into custody Monday night after Anderson police officers responded to a call at 501 4th Street. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Kevin Anderson, 29, bleeding from a stab wound to the chest. Paramedics were called to the scene but were unable to save the victim.

Officers found Marcum walking down the street, about a block away from the murder scene. According to a probable cause statement, Marcum state that he stabbed Anderson with a pocket knife. The knife was found on Marcum when he was taken into custody. He remains in the McDonald County Jail with a $5,000 cash bond.
