MONETT, MO.--- Authorities make a major drug bust in a vehicle being transported from Los Angeles to Monett. Officials initially spotted the 2004 Ford Explorer Friday on a parked car hauler at a truck stop in Oklahoma. When they searched the vehicle, they discovered 15 bundles of meth weighing nearly 43 pounds.
The drugs had a street value of more than $2.3 million. Authorities followed the vehicle to Monett, where it was picked up by a man who drove it to his home. Officials discovered more meth, firearms, a large sum of cash and documents related to drug trafficking. 6 people were taken into custody on multiple charges, they're waiting transfer to a federal facility.
