Second Man Wanted for McDonald County Kidnapping Now in Custody

Authorities arrested Michael Miller of Eagle Rock near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last night.
MCDONALD COUNTY, MO.--- A second man wanted in connection to a McDonald County kidnapping is now in custody in Pennsylvania. Authorities arrested Michael Miller of Eagle Rock near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last night. Barry County officials notified Pennsylvania law enforcement that Miller had contacts in the area. He was found hiding behind a wall of sheet rock inside his girlfriend's house. It's unclear when Miller will be brought back to Missouri, because he's also facing a felony assault charge in Pennsylvania.

Miller's brother, Mathew, was arrested Wednesday for his role in the McDonald County crime. Authorities say the two men broke into a home in Southeast McDonald County last Friday. The woman claims the men forced her into the trunk of her own car and held her captive before letting her go in rural Barry County. Authorities also believe the men took valuables from the victim's home, but haven't recovered them.
