PITTSBURG, KS.--- More than 150 technology educators from across the Four States attended a conference at the Kansas Technology Center in Pittsburg. The "Transitions Conference" featured a variety of workshops and interactive sessions for educators looking to advance their teaching methods. In this professional development seminar, Pitt State shared what technology they're using in their classrooms. The teachers learned about apps and other online programs they can use to improve their classrooms.
"The benefit is ultimately the students that are in the public schools, and then the community colleges and universities, that these instructors are going to go back and with some fresh ideas," said Dr. John Iley, PSU College of Technology.
Doctor Iley wants the teachers to have more knowledge to encourage their students in choosing a career in the technology field.
