PITTSBURG, KS.--- Pittsburg State University students get a chance to see what local businesses have to offer. About 90 businesses and organizations came out for the community fair. Campus activities center leaders believe that's the highest turnout they've ever had. Students met with representatives from local banks, restaurants, health care providers and shops.
"We want them to know what's available in the community, what organizations are there, that they can offer support for the students and definitely the businesses would hope the students come and spend money there," said David Adams, Camus Activities Assistant Director.
The fair lasted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the PSU oval.
