PITTSBURG, KS.--- Pittsburg State University hosts its largest career fair in school history. The PSU Office of Career Services welcomed nearly 90 companies for the event. Students showed up dressed in professional attire with resume in hand, and ready to interview and network with large corporations from around the nation. The director of Career Services says this unique opportunity helps students bridge the gap between college and employment.
"There's hospitals, school districts, business and industry, non-for-profit, military, and grad schools. So, it's really a compilation of just about anything a student might consider doing after graduation," said Mindy Cloninger, PSU Office of Career Services.
Officials estimate more than 300 students attended this years career fair.
