Pittsburg Man Sentenced for Distributing Meth

Mac William Watkins will serve 13 years and 1 month in federal prison.
PITTSBURG, KS--- Mac William Watkins was sentenced to 13 years and 1 month in federal prison. He pleaded guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Meth. Co-conspirators Derek Edwards was sentenced to 8 years and 7 months, and Tammy Baetke was sentenced to 5 years.

On May 12, 2012, Watkins provided 35 grams of meth to Edwards. Edwards then took the drugs to sell on consignment. On May 14, Edwards was found to be in possession of 5 grams. On May 18, Watkins and Tammy Baetke were pulled over on the way back from Oklahoma City where they bought more than 149 grams of meth.
