Parson's Man Pleads Guilty to the 2012 Murder of a Joplin Man

Cody Stephens pleaded guilty to burglary and second degree murder charges, he's set to be sentenced March 7th of next year.
JOPLIN, MO.--- A Parson's man accused in the 2012 murder of a Joplin man pleads guilty to the crime. Today, Cody Stephens, 21, pleaded guilty to burglary and 2nd degree murder charges. He's set to be sentenced March 7th of next year. Stephens and four other men are charged in the July 2012 murder of Jacob Wages. Wages was found shot to death in his Pearl Street home. Authorities were able to arrest Stephens immediately after the crime, after finding him in possession of the victim's black lock box.
