OKLAHOMA--- While the federal government shutdown may be nearing an end, Oklahoma's top executive isn't taking any chances. Just hours before a potential solution was announced, Governor Mary Fallin directed state agencies to end temporary state funding of federal programs unless reimbursement is guaranteed. In a statement, she said that Oklahoma does not have the resources to quote "prop up federal programs." Missouri lawmakers are already considering a Medicaid expansion for the 2014 legislatie session.
