JOPLIN, MO.--- There's nothing grey or dull about a new downtown Joplin mural. The public art work is by "Tank" and it's painted on the west side of the Spiva building. The group chose the wall because it has a long expanse of unmarked wall space on a very busy road. The mural is the first of three geometrically inspired murals planned for downtown structures. The other murals will be painted on a wall at 7th and Wall Avenue and between 6th and 7th on Virginia Avenue. Tank hopes to finish them this year depending on the weather.
