Carthage, MO- There's a new woman� in charge at the Carthage Salvation Army.
�Lt. Julie Trapp has replaced Captain Richard McDonald.
Trapp recently completed her seminary school in Chicago.
Both her parents worked in the salvation army she's moved around the country much of her life.
However, she's familiar to Missouri because she's a graduate of Jefferson City High School.
�Trapp says she is happy to have her first post in Carthage.
She says it's nice to be stationed in a smaller town so she can network and learn the needs of the community.
�Trapp�s says the Organization can always use donations because the summer months can be tough on the less fortunate.
