NEOSHO, MO.--- A $24 million bond issue will be on the April ballot in Neosho. The bond will be used to build a new junior high that will be located next to Carver Elementary. The money will also be used to renovate, repair, and improve existing school buildings and facilities. If the bond is approved, the tax levy will increase from 24 cents to 60 cents per $100 assessed valuation on real and personal property. That means if someone owns a $100,000 home, they'll pay $60 more each year in property taxes.
