MIAMI, OK.--- The staff and faculty at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M had a chance to visit the doctor, while they worked. The NEO Human Resources Department hosted a free onsite health clinic for their employees. The preventative health care was provided by Catapult Health. 56 staff members received their annual checkups, flu shots, and T-Dap vaccinations. The spouses of these employees were also able to receive free health care.
Human Resources Director Evan Jewsbury says the goal of this event was to provide quality health care in a convenient manner to the staff and faculty of NEO. "We want our employees here at NEO to be aware of their current conditions. And if there's anything that they can learn about what can help them better their health, we want to make sure that they are able to take part in this event."
The appointments lasted about 45 minutes. After taking a drop of blood, patients were provided a report detailing checkup results and health recommendations.
