JOPLIN, MO.--- The Missouri Southern community gathers to remember one of their own killed in a weekend car crash. Members from the Kappa Sigma Fraternity organized a candlelight service tonight on the Missouri Southern State University campus to remember Tyler Bower, 19. Bower died in a car crash on 20th and Roosevelt in Joplin this past Saturday. His younger brother, Eric, was driving the car and has a long road to recovery. One fraternity brother says even though he's only known Tyler two years, he had a big impact on his life.
"Full of life, we can all learn a lot from Tyler. I hope that people will always remember his smile and how he impacted them," said Jerrick Williams, Kappa Sigma Fraternity Brother.
The fraternity accepted donations and signed items to help the family anyway they can.
