Motorist Begin Preparing for Winter Weather

Managers at Target in Joplin said once they opened up at 8am, they started selling dozens of ice scrapers.
JOPLIN, MO.--- Motorists were met with freezing temperatures this morning and many didn't have anything in their car to scrape their windshields. Managers at Target in Joplin said once they opened up at 8am, they started selling dozens of ice scrapers. They also sold lots of ice melt and windshield washer fluid. Managers say it's common for people to loose their ice scraper after the summer months.

"The hottest thing, definitely, has to be the ice scrapers because somehow between last year and this year, they've thrown it out the back of the car," said Ali Brimblecom, Target.

Target is expected to receive another shipment of ice scrapers and supplies later this week to restock the shelves.
