JOPLIN, MO.--- Your college student could soon be studying their next semester in a different country. A Study Abroad Fair was held at Missouri Southern State University today. Students have the chance next semester to visit places like Italy, France and Sweden. Several booths were setup for students to get more information about their future travels. Teachers say studying abroad expands the students learning experience.
"They have cultural experiences, have a basic understanding of the cultures and sometimes they realize that the American approach or American ideas aren't always the best ones," said Chad Stebbins, MSSU.
