MSSU Omicron Delta Cappa Honor Society Coat Drive

The coats will then be given to the Joplin Bright Futures Program to help keep less fortunate students warm this winter.
JOPLIN, MO.--- Fall is here and colder temperatures are on the way. That's why it's important to bundle up, but not everyone has a coat. The Missouri Southern Omicron Delta Cappa Honor Society is hosting a coat drive. They have placed more than a dozen blue boxes in all the buildings on campus, people can drop off their used coats. They will then be given to the Joplin Bright Futures Program to help keep less fortunate students warm this winter. They are also accepting other items.

"Coats, gloves, scarves, sweaters, just anything gently warm or new. Please, nothing tattered or ratty," said Ruth Stampher, Omicron Delta Kappa.

The boxes will be on campus until Monday, November 18th.
