Missouri Southern Board of Governors Approve Plans for New Residence Hall Complex

Each bedroom will have its own bathroom and students will share a common living area and full kitchen.
JOPLIN, MO.--- The Missouri Southern Board of Governors approves plans for a new residence hall complex. The three story, six building complex will be located north of Newman Road and east of International Boulevard. It will feature 51 student apartments, most will be four bedrooms. 

Each bedroom will have its own bathroom and students will share a common living area and full kitchen. Each apartment will have its own washer and dryer. The total project will cost $14 million. The plans also cost a near 13,000 square foot Fema shelter next to the residence halls. It will be able to hold 2,000 people and will cost more than $2 million. Fema will cover 75% of the cost.
