Missouri Football Quarterfinals - Webb City, Lamar Cruise

After winning their first two games at home, Webb City, Lamar and Cassville all went on the road Saturday in the quarterfinals.
The Cardinals were most impressive defensively, shutting out Hillcrest and the nation's top recruit, Dorial Green-Beckham. Offensively, Jamison Cady ran in five touchdowns. Webb will be on the road at Savannah next Saturday.

The Tigers started slow but got the offense going in the second half for a 33-18 win. Levi Peterson and Markell White both with multiple touchdowns. Lamar will host Maplewood Richmond Heights next Saturday.

Alas it was not a three-for-three effort for the area - after not winning a game this year by less than 14 points, Cassville fell for the first time against a tough, tough Logan-Rogersville team. The Wildcats scored their lone touchdown in a 28-7 loss on a Ricky Nichols kickoff return.
